S-cry-ed: Evolution

"It started with my fathers crude expirements to crude expirements to re-fine alters into greater more powerful versions of themselves but with a price. The alters became monsterious and grotesque machines... Evolution, the brain-child of my father and his bigetry over humans and there weakeness. When I was born my father saw weakness in me. He tried to force me into dangerous situations to bring out my alter and when nothing worked he tried to create an alter and fuse it to my soul making it a part of me. I was the first to test his idea of turning humans into alter users. I snuck out one night to try an assassinate a group of rebels that where trying to bring down my fathers growing empire, they where hiding out in a camp in the dessert. I snuck into there camp but I was caught before I could kill there leader. During my capture I lost my arm, they dragged me into a room and chained me to a wall as they tortured me for information. It was then that I found my alter... I abosorbed the men beating me and there lives replaced my arm with this cybernetic arm. After my arm was replaced, another cyborg was created holding two powerful guns. I used this to escape the camp and return home.

When I got there I found love from my father for the first time in my life. He welcomed me with open arms and for the first time I felt like I had a father. But that love didn't last very long. I learned his true intentions for refining and creating these machines. that night I said goodbye to the only person I ever loved and ran from that day forward and I never looked back.

Now you know the truth. Now you know who I am. So what are gonna do now? Are you gonna take me back to H.O.L.Y.? Restore your honor and condemn me for life? Or are we going to stop evolution?" Michael said.

"I suppose that I could take you back to H.O.L.Y." he responded. "I really don't think it would be too difficult. But I'm interested in learning if there is any truth behind  what your words. I'm not sure I can trust you, seeing as you've kidnapped me at gunpoint. Not exactly a friendly start." The dog at his side was staring down Michael, ready to make a move if it had to. "I don't think I'll turn you in. But I can guarantee you'll be under my watch, especially when you don't know it. Though I guess now that I told you, you know." he chuckled. "So what's it going to be from you? Are you going to shoot me, or are you going to let me go despite your assault me, which I can have you locked away for many year for? I'm not saying I would, but it would be a fairly easy way to deal with you."

"You like to underestimate my ability it seems." He laughed. "I'm not sure if I should call that courage, or stupidity. I think that I'll take some time to think about this decision. I still don't have any proof other than your word."

"That asshole... Leaving a blind man in the desert with no food or water. There isn't even much water in the air for me to use. Guess we'll just start walking and hope we get somewhere a bit cooler." He laughed. He was intrigued by Michaels words, but he was unsure as to whether he could trust him or not. Only time would tell, and he was going to take his time.

He had instantly backtracked after he had realized he had been kidnapped by Michael in one of H.O.L.Y.'s trucks. "Screw walking. I may be blind, but we'll pull through this, won't we buddy?" The dog hopped into the passengers seat as he crawled into the drivers seat and started the engine. In an instant he was off, speeding across the desert towards his next destination, whatever that was.

Michaels ear perked up when he heard an engine roar to life. He put the gun away and started walking and climbed a hill overlooking the truck driving away. "Hmm." Michael said as he watched.

They drove for what felt like 2 weeks and 3 days before they finally arrived at the nearest city. The dog jumped down from the passengers seat, while his owner also left the vehicle to stretch. "I'm sooo hungry! I feel like it's been weeks since I've had anything to eat or drink! I bet you feel the same, doncha?" he asked his faithful companion, who merely barked in reply.

The people of the village just stared at the newcomer like he was crazy, talking to a dog. Most of them just looked at him like he was trouble. most visiters in the town where. One of the towns people, a real shady looking one, just stood and watched as the visiter walked into a bar.

"These people are giving up looks like we're crazy!" Takeru laughed. The dog just continued to look around silently while it's owner took a seat at a nearby table. "Don't be shy, come on over and I'll get you something to eat." 

The bartender looked at the two and said. "No dogs allowed at the bar. It'll have to wait outside." He said.

Takeru looked somewhat displeased as the bartender informed him of this. "My friend here is my sight. I'm blind, and I can't function properly without my seeing eye dog. I didn't realize there were still places around that didn't allow service animals." he sighed, looking to his friend.

The shady figure that watched the two walk into the bar was now sitting at one of the tables in a dark section of the romom with his arms crossed and was abserving them quietly.

"Guess we'll just have to go elsewhere. Your losing the business, not me." He shook his head as the dog stood and slowly began to walk towards the door.

Just outside of the bar there was a crowd of people forming around a stadium.

The dog suddenly became flustered by the horde of people, running ahead of the its owner. "Hey, wait up! I can't do this without you!" he called out as he pushed forward through the crowd of people, keeping as close to the dog as possible. He wasnt sure what was going on but he'd find out.

Slowly comming into view there was a man standing on the stadium. "... Too many of us have starved in this city because of there thievery. Too many of us have gone without protection! Our sons, our daughters, kidnapped for being altar users and turned against us while we are left defenseless, killed by our own people, our own BLOOD! It is time we act my friends! These rouge alter users must be stopped!" The man shouted when suddenly a gun shot sounded from the out of no where and the blood poured from the mans chest as he fell to the ground and the whole crowd looked up and saw a masked man standing on the roof of a building behind the stadium holding a smoking gun and he was staring at the scattering crowd. It was the same man that was standing in the streets outside of the bar and was sitting in the bar as well.

"... A very inspiring speech. Too bad it had to end so early..." the man said.

"Shit!" Takeru stared the man down, but didn't make any sudden movements. He wanted to wait and see what the mans purpose was before he made his move.
