S-cry-ed: Evolution

Michael calmed himself long enough to turn away and grab a bottle of whiskey sitting outside of the bar and sat at a table pouring himself a shot and he ussured Takeru you join him at the other side.

Takeru let out a sigh as his faithful companion re-joined his side, the ice wolves evaporating into the air. He walked over and pulled up a chair, all the while keeping alert to any suspicious behaviour. "Well?" he asked, as if waiting for something.

"what's your name?" Micheal said calmly shooting down the drink.

"Takeru." He responded. "My name's Takeru. And this here is my faithful companion." he motioned to the dog, who merely growled at Micheals presence. 

Micheal poured another shot for himself and another for Takeru. "I apologize for the confrontation. Be it friend or foe if you start something with me I won't back down."

"Sorry, but I don't drink." Takeru held his hand up, rejecting the drink. "Besides, drinking while on duty is against protocol. Excuse me. I will be back." He got up from his seat and made his way into the bar, motioning for his friend to join him. The dog followed, and momentarily they made their way back outside. Takeru had a large piture of water and a bowl. He set the bowl on the ground next to him, pouring his companion a drink. The dog happily lapped up the cool liquid. "Sorry, but it's been a long day for him. He's tired."

"So am I." Micheal said putting the bottle to his lips and downing a large portion of the bottle in one gulp then looked around the ruined village. "This town has suffered enough... Whenever new recruits showed up to get there altars refined I never new where they came from. Now I know where my father gets his recruits... He kidnaps them. He takes them from there family's and friends..." Micheal said taking another drink.  

"I haven't heard too much about people turning up missing around these parts. You'd think that'd be something I hear about, seeing as I work for H.O.L.Y." Takeru took a sip from the pitcher. "And if a friend or family member turns up missing that tends to be something you report."

"Look around you. These people are threatened with death everyday. That man destroyed this place without even breaking a sweat. He was stationed here to keep them quiet..." Micheal said.

Takeru sat and listened, taking in what the man sitting across from him had to say. "If that's so, then there must be somebody here other than you who can vouch for that. So what do ya got?"

"Why don't you provide me with a bit more evidence other than your word, and maybe I'd be more inclined to believe you!" Takeru shouted, slapping the money for their check down on the table and walking out behind him, his dog at his side.

"You've seen for yourself what happened here! ONE man nearly decimated this town and almost killed YOU in the process! How much more proof do you need!" Micheal shouted back then calmed himself long enough to say. "I've told you my side of the story. Either believe me or don't I don't really care. I'm going to stop evolution from creating more of those abonations and when I'm done with them I'm going after my father and make him pay for what he's done and if your to scared to help me or you just want to be one of H.O.L.Y's lacky's all your life then go ahead." Micheal said walking outside the gates and sat down on his motorcycle and started it up.

She watched from the balcony of nearby structure, observing the scene as it played out. She listened to the conversation of the two men through a headset, the sight of her rifle focused on Micheal's body. She watched as Micheal got up and left, Takeru following him out to a lone motorcycle. "This may be my last chance..." she thought to herself, focusing the crosshairs on his head and taking the shot.

"Shit!" Takeru shouted, lunging for Micheal as he heard the sound of the shot through a hidden earpiece. He tackled him out of the way, both of them flipping over the motorcycle just as the shot was about to hit its mark. The dog barked excitedly from the panic, trying to assess the situation.

"Hold your fire!" Takeru shouted, placing a hand on Micheals chest to hold him at bay. "BOTH of you." Takeru spoke into the transmitter. He noticed they had attracted some unwanted attention from him lunging at Micheal the way he did. People were probably expecting another fight.

"I said calm down!" Takeru exclaimed, grabbing Michael by the wrist and ripping him off of his collar. His dog growled viciously from the attack that was directed at his friend. "Stand down. All THREE of you." he said, referring to his dog as well.

"I am not going back to H.O.L.Y!" Micheal said to Takeru as he stormed toward his motorcycle again.
