S-cry-ed: Evolution

Takeru peeked over Micheals shoulder nonchalantly, wearing a somewhat vacant expression. "So since Micheal has beaten the gym 'leader' here, does he get some kind of badge to validate this if someone were to ask? If so, I may not have been the one to finish him off but I did do some of the work, so I would like a gym badge as well."  

"Yes, collect eight of them and you will automatically be given automatic passage into the kingdom where you have to fight four of the most elite alter users under the kings command and if you beat them you face the king himself and if you beat him you'll be known as champions among the realm." Elodie said.

"PLEASE tell me you grabbed those badges when you shot that bastard..." Takeru whispered into Micheals ear, probably way too close for his comfort. The fact that taking badges from the man Micheal had killed justified the murder in Takerus eyes was a bit unsettling to his dog. 

Micheal looked at Takeru like he wanted to smack him upside the head so bad. "Sorry, Must have slipped my mind." Micheal said to him. "Alright lets just go before we waste anymore time being stupid." Michealed continued ushering the two into the truck. 

"Smart ass..." Elodie said under her breath as she passed micheal. "Yeah, now you know what i've been dealing with. Listen, if this plan goes south... These past months... Without you... I just want you to know. I lo..." 

"Stop." Elodie said putting her hand up to his mouth. "I know. Everything will go fine. After all, evolutions top two assassins are together now. nothing can stop us." Elodie said softly. Micheal just took her in his arms before walking to the truck with her. " I hope your right...."
